My entry for the Montreux Jazz Festival Poster Competition 2021 with the theme of ‘RESTART’, which seeks to offer a message of hope after a silent year for the majority of the music scene due to COVID-19.
My idea behind the creation of this poster is summed up on this short description below.
“More than anything, musicians have missed playing live to audiences. This poster represents a bassist playing his upright bass, which opens the gate to the audience and marks a new beginning for live music festivals.”
